Wedding Planner Desk

Wedding Planner Desk is an offline-first desktop application for professional wedding planners. It helps users organize prospective clients, couples, weddings, venues, packages, vendors, quotations, billing, payments, tasks, schedules, and documents in one place.

Provided by Mark Muya, doing business as BusinessKit Lab. Google account connection is optional.

Application purpose and functionality

One desk for the business of wedding planning

The App is an administrative tool for wedding planners and related business users. It does not provide legal, tax, accounting, insurance, or financial advice.

Clients and weddings

Record prospective clients, couple details, contact information, wedding dates, venues, notes, and package selections.

Quotations and billing

Create quotations, change orders, billing statements, balances, payment records, and billing PDFs from user-supplied information.

Vendors and coordination

Organize vendor contacts, quotations, contracts, payment status, and communication notes.

Tasks, schedules, and documents

Track dated planning tasks and schedules and generate planning documents for review and use by the wedding planner.

Optional Google connection

How Wedding Planner Desk uses Google user data

The user explicitly chooses whether to connect a Google account. The App requests only the permissions needed for the selected synchronization, Drive, and Calendar features.

Google account identity

The App identifies and displays the email address of the Google account the user chooses to connect.

Google Drive

The App stores and retrieves its private synchronization file and creates or manages only Drive files and folders created or selected through the App, including billing PDFs.

Google Calendar

The App creates and updates wedding dates and dated planning tasks at the user’s direction.

No Gmail access: Wedding Planner Desk does not read Gmail messages and does not send email through the Gmail API. Prepared messages open in the user’s chosen email application for review and sending.

Privacy by design

Local-first data handling

  • Primary working data is stored locally on the user’s computer.
  • BusinessKit Lab does not operate a central Wedding Planner Desk database and does not automatically receive users’ wedding-planning records.
  • Google OAuth tokens are stored locally to maintain the authorized connection.
  • We do not sell Google user data or App business data.
  • We do not use Google user data for advertising, credit decisions, data-broker services, or training generalized AI models.
  • Users can disconnect Google in the App and revoke access through Google Account security settings.
